"Entrust your eyes to our capable hands
and
begin your new outlook on life" - Dr. Nick Caro

A recognized pioneer in the field of corrective eye surgery,
Nicholas Caro, M.D., Medical Director, has performed more
than 20,000 procedures. |
|
Corrective eye surgery has changed people's lives for decades, beginning with RK. Now thanks to new techniques and scientific advances, patients have more options and today LASIK is the most commonly performed procedure to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism.
Dr.
Nick Caro, medical director, uses the Nidek EC5000 Scanning Laser to reshape the cornea and correct vision. Before each procedure
Nick Caro uses the brand new iTrace system to create a customized vision correction for you. Unlike basic wave front analysis used by most other ophthalmologists, iTrace results in a clearer crisper vision. |

Prior to LASIK, some anesthetic drops are placed on the
eyes to numb them. During the procedure, a special instrument is used to
create a flap on the front of the cornea and the laser is used to reshape
the interior of the cornea. Following this process, the flap is folded back
into position. The whole procedure takes just a few minutes. Most of our
patients see anywhere from 75 to 95% better the following day
